How you find out when Crestwell is down.
There is no uptime history on this page, because nothing has been monitored long enough to have any. What is here is any incident or planned maintenance we have announced, a live check that ran when this page loaded, and the commitment your firm can hold us to when something breaks.
Nothing announced right now.
When we know Crestwell is down or degraded, or plan work that takes it offline, it is posted here and kept up to date until it is resolved. Every time on a notice is UK time.

- Not respondingA test document was read end to end when this page rendered.
Two things are checked here, and only these two, because they are the only ones where the check proves the capability rather than the configuration. Meeting transcription, fact-find drafting and email are not listed: the checks behind them prove a setting is present, not that a transcript came back. Document storage is not listed at all, because nothing checks it yet.
The promises, in sentences.
Support
Email hello@crestwell.uk and a person replies within one working day, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm UK time. Priority support on Growth and Scale is answered first.
Incidents
If Crestwell is down or degraded we post a notice at the top of this page as soon as we know, and update it until it is resolved. We email every firm's owner when an incident touches their data or lasts more than an hour.
Planned maintenance
Anything that takes the product offline is posted on this page at least 48 hours ahead and scheduled outside UK working hours.
Your data when you leave
You choose return, deletion or both, within 30 days of termination, and we complete it within 30 days of your instruction.
If it touches your data, your firm hears from us directly.
Your firm hears from us directly.
Crestwell is your data processor. If an incident touches client personal data we notify your firm without undue delay after becoming aware, and we tell you when we became aware, so your own regulatory clock is yours to manage.
The decision to notify stays with you.
As controller, your firm decides whether to tell the ICO or affected clients. We make no notification and no public statement on your behalf without your consent.
This page is for checking, not an alert.
Nothing is sent from this page. A notice here tells whoever looks, and posting one does not count as telling your firm about an incident that touches its data. That notice goes to your firm's own contact, directly.
No uptime figure, and no complete incident record.
Crestwell has no external uptime monitoring yet, so there is no availability record to publish, and a percentage here would be invented. The notices at the top of this page are the ones we posted, and a resolved one drops off after 14 days. An incident nobody reported to us would not be among them. When monitoring has run long enough to mean something, the date it started recording will be stated here.
A notice appears here only when we post one. No notice is not the same as nothing having happened.
What we can restore, and what we do not promise.
Daily automated backups, retained for seven days, in the same EU region (Ireland) as the live data. Continuous point-in-time recovery is not enabled, so the recovery point objective is up to 24 hours. These are the terms in our data processing agreement (available on request), not a target we are working towards.
Crestwell does not offer an availability guarantee or a service credit. The terms say we aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and for a product this early that is the honest position. If that is a problem for your firm's procurement, say so before you sign. We would rather know.
